When choosing flowers for your centerpieces, it is important to focus on 2 things:
1.) What type of feel is this design going to create for my guests? formal/playful/expressive, etc.
2.) When taken in at a glance, what are the shapes and colors that are going to dominate the room.
Choosing flowers such as the red protea in the blue vases make a very loud statement with very little flower! Whereas, the large green/white/yellow arrangement on top make a muted statement but are stately, and refined.
